We are thrilled to announce the first-ever PWI Lunch and Learn session, an innovative platform where learning and lunching come together. Kicking off this exciting series, we are ecstatic to have Laing O’Rourke present their work on the METRONET Rail project. This session is a unique opportunity to delve into the intricacies of one of Perth’s most ambitious infrastructure projects, setting the stage for continuous learning and professional growth.
Laing O’Rourke is gearing up to deliver an in-depth presentation on their involvement in the METRONET project. The upcoming presentation will cover a comprehensive analysis of rail operations, construction methodologies, and the integration of cutting-edge construction technologies. It’s a chance to gain insights into the progression of this significant project, which is set to revolutionise connectivity in Perth’s north-eastern suburbs and is expected to be operational by 2024.
The 21km METRONET rail project marks the most significant expansion of Perth’s rail network since the launch of the Mandurah Line in 2007. Laing O’Rourke’s role in constructing five new stations — at Morley, Noranda, Malaga, Whiteman Park, and Ellenbrook — and planning for a future station at Bennett Springs East is a testament to their expertise and commitment to enhancing urban infrastructure.
